Squirrel monkey

An illustration of a Squirrel Monkey (Saimiri boliviensis) made with gouache on coarse paper. In the Dutch city of Apeldoorn there is a zoo specializing in monkeys and apes. A large group of Squirrel Monkeys is located at the entry of the zoo roaming around freely. They interact with the visitors, thus making it easy to study them.
