Scientific research

I know how to interpret scientific papers and put them into context. I follow several scientific fields closely and many more from a distance. You won’t have to guide me through your research, I know which questions to ask.

Octopus Eledone cirrhosa. Modeled and rendered in ZBrush

Parasitic wasp Enicospilus myricae. Modeled and rendered in different settings in Zbrush.

I’ve been working in scientific visualization professionally since 2004. Since 2006 I’ve been working almost solely in 3d. Because of the complexity of most of the assignments I get, requests for changes in the visualization occur on a regular basis due to new insights as a result of those same visualizations. Working in 3d gives me and my client a lot more flexibility.

Customer oriented

If there is one thing my clients say about me is that I am customer oriented. I know your time is precious and my work isn’t your specialty. I make it my job to show you the possibilities within a given budget. I know what works and what doesn’t, and that makes your decisions easier.
